Deciding what markets to invest in is not an easy decision. At Red Door Capital, we consider a variety of factors when evaluating a market to invest in. We look for markets that fit our criteria which considers population growth rate, employment rate, unemployment rate and median household income. However, the most important metric we consider cannot be quantified. We only invest in areas where we have a competitive advantage. Whether that advantage be the network we have built or the access to deals we have, having a competitive advantage is an absolute must have for Red Door Capital to consider investing in a market.
